I'm Daniel, and I review crypto and online casinos for New Zealand players. I've been at it since 2017, back when Bitcoin gambling was still a niche corner of the internet. My background is in the unglamorous parts of it: bonus terms, KYC, provably fair checks, and whether a site actually pays out when you cash in your coins. That is where players get burned, so that is where I spend my time.

How I work

I won't write up a casino I haven't actually used. For each one I open an account, put my own crypto or cash in, work through part of the bonus, then cash out so I can time the payout properly. Anything that trips me up, a slow KYC check or a fee the promo page skipped over, ends up in the review. The full routine is on the how we test page.

What I focus on

Payments and trust, mostly. With crypto-first sites like 7Bit I care about how quickly coins actually arrive, whether the casino skims a fee on top of the network cost, and whether the games can be checked as provably fair. I also keep readers honest about what an offshore Curaçao licence does and does not give you, because that gap is where disputes turn ugly.
